This is a new private multi purpose terminal in km178 north bank of Parana River (Guazu arm), within the limits of Entre Rios province though the nearest city is Zarate on the other side of the river. The site is well connected next to the main route 14 and railway tracks. The Terminal is situated 1 kilometer upriver from the Zarate Brazo largo Bridge. It compromises 80 hectares and a 200 meter concrete wharf on piles, with four bridge accesses connecting it to the shore. The berth has a depth alongside of 40 feet and the max recommendable sailing draft is 35 feet FW if using the Mitre Channel outbound route and 32 feet if using the Martin Garcia outbound route (which shorter). As far as restrictions are concerned, the berth allows up to Capesize ships. Loading is by means of two loading towers with a load rate of 1,200 mtph jointly. Existing storage facilities can accommodate up to 80,000 tons of grains.
